I still remember the time when the situation in Swat was very unstable and it was becoming difficult for people to live here. There was uncertainty everywhere. People were losing their lives every day. At that time the Pakistan Army conducted a very successful operation after which the situation was normalized and people started living their lives in peace again. The Pakistan Army had a very important role to play in bringing the situation back to normal. When we started going back to school, it was in a terrible state but ITA with the help of SWAat assisted us in that regard too. ITA and SWAaT opened a Computer Laboratory and also provided an IT teacher and an Assistant Librarian which really improved the state of education in our school. Now the students are receiving Computer education and also reading different books in the library which is a big improvement, the credit for which goes to ITA and SWAaT and for which we are very thankful. Now we are optimistic about our future.

I remember when the situation in Swat became unstable. I had to leave my village and go to Mardan. Then Pakistan army conducted a successful operation and resolved the issues in Swat. We came back to our homes and after a while our schools reopened. We had a lot of difficulties to face in our school but the Pakistan Army and various NGOs helped us in that regard. We are especially thankful to SWAaT and ITA for their assistance. They built two rooms in our Government High School in Tootanobanday for a Computer Lab and also provided an IT teacher and a Librarian. ITA with the help of SWAaT also started Study Clubs and Community Classes in the holidays which have really helped us in our studies.

A few years ago the situation in Swat was very bad. It had become impossible for people to live here. There was a sense of fear and insecurity everywhere. People were disturbed and their business suffered. The Pakistan Army took the responsibility of resolving this crisis and conducted a successful operation to revive peace in the area. Many soldiers laid down their lives for the success of this operation. Many NGOs also helped in the rebuilding of Swat. ITA helped in spreading educational awareness and SWAaT helped in the development of educational facilities. In our Government High School Tootanobanday, ITA with the help of SWAaT built two rooms. In one room they opened an IT Lab with an IT teacher and in the other a library was opened and a Librarian hired. Training workshops were arranged for the students and the teachers. We are very thankful to ITA and SWAaT for that.

Swat is a tourist destination in Pakistan. Some time back the situation in Swat was very disturbed. There was restlessness and unrest everywhere. The people were very fearful and no Government or Private organization was safe. People were spending their lives in distress. No Government employee could leave his house to go to work in safety. In this situation the role of the Pakistan Army was that of a savior. They not only helped the people of Swat in the hour of need but were ready to sacrifice their lives in the process. The Army conducted a successful operation and their efforts restored peace in Swat. When we returned to school we found that their condition was very bad. ITA and SWAaT helped make a computer room and a library in our school which really helped us in the pursuit of our education and was very encouraging for us. We are very thankful to the Pakistan Army, ITA and SWAaT for their help in our time of need.

I want to talk about the situation in Swat, the way it was before and how it is now. Swat is called the Switzerland of Pakistan because of its natural beauty. There are many tourism attractions in Swat and that is why people have always come to these parts. However four years ago the situation in Swat became such that people had to leave their houses and migrate. For a long time the situation in Swat remained disturbed but then the Pakistan Army arrived and conducted an operation here which made the people very happy. Slowly Swat started flourishing again. The Army provided a lot of relief to the people and helped them a lot. A lot of NGOs also helped, especially ITA regarding awareness of the importance of education and SWAaT in the development of educational facilities. SWAaT helped make a computer room and a library in Government High School, Tootanobanday and also hired an IT teacher and a librarian. Various different training programs were also arranged which have really benefitted us. We are very thankful to ITA and SWAaT.

I have been asked to talk about the situation in Swat as it has been and now. As you may know Swat has been through a very tough time. People used to come here for tourism as this is a very beautiful place. However terrorism destroyed the peace in this area and there came a time when everyone left this area and the schools had to be closed down. In that situation the Pakistan Army took the whole area under their control and conducted a successful operation after which the peace in the area was restored. When we came back to Swat we discovered that all the schools had become a target of terrorism. Slowly, with the help of Pakistan Army the restoration work began. Our schools reopened and ITA and SWAaT also started work in the improvement of the facilities. ITA and SWAaT opened an IT lab and a library in our school as well as hired an IT teacher and a librarian. We benefitted greatly from the IT Lab and the encouragement that we got from these organizations helped us get back to hard work. We are very happy now and very thankful to ITA, SWAaT and the Pakistan Army for their support.

The district of Swat which is a part of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwah is famous for its natural beauty and has been through a very rough time in the past few years. The people have experienced a lot of difficulties and the situation became so unstable at one point that it became impossible to live here and people were forced to migrate. Educational Institutions became targets also and many of them were destroyed making the children lose the chance of getting education. When the Pakistan Army came and took the whole area under their control they strived hard to restore peace in the area as well as to reestablish the educational institutions in the area. Various NGOs and organizations also helped them in this endeavor. The efforts of ITA and SWAaT cannot be appreciated enough in this regard. They established an IT Lab in our school and provided computers for it. They established a library and provided books and a librarian for it. Together with the Pakistan Army they held different workshops for the children which paved the way for improvement in education. My friend and I are very thankful to the Pakistan Army, SWAaT and ITA for their efforts.

Sometime ago the situation in Swat became very unstable and living here became impossible. We were fearful and life had become a burden. The terrorists destroyed all Government and Private property. No person or organization was safe. The Pakistan Army took over the responsibility of correcting the situation and conducted a successful operation to revive peace in Swat. They laid down their lives for the cause of restoring Swat. When we returned to school, they were in a bad state. The Army, ITA and SWAaT helped a lot in setting up our schools. They made an IT Lab and a library in our school which really encouraged us towards education. They have had a profound impact on our morale and we are very thankful to them for helping us in our time of need.

I belong to Swat which is a very beautiful place. Swat has been through a very tough time in the past few years. People had to leave their homes and find sanctuary elsewhere because the situation was extremely unstable. Then the Pakistan Army came to Swat and made peace a possibility in this area again. The educational activities were also reestablished and the army also provided support in this regard. A lot of organizations worked in this area and ITA and SWAaT are at the top of this list. They provided our school with computers and established a library. Now we know a lot about information technology because of these computers. Various workshops were also conducted for the children of Swat and now we have peace and a very successful educational system being run in this area. We are very thankful to Pakistan Army, ITA and SWAaT.
